Basket FAQ
Why is there such a long lead time?

Most of our flooring products (including samples) are made to order. While we try to deliver them to you as soon as possible, we have to allow for manufacturing time. Please note: our flooring products may be earlier or later than your selected delivery date. If this is the case we will contact you immediately.

can i get my other products delivered before my flooring?

Yes. If you have a mixed basket and would like to receive your other items before your flooring please contact us to arrange your separate deliveries. Alternatively, you may place two seperate orders.

Delivery & Returns
When will my flooring arrive?

After your flooring order is placed one of the Oakwoods team will contact you to arrange a delivery date most convenient for you. Many of our popular floors are in stock and available for immediate dispatch with delivery in 48 hours and sometimes even next business day.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Many accessory orders are eligible for free delivery. Others are charged at a minimal cost often around £5. All Flooring orders are charged at a subsidised rate of around £30 to £45 inc VAT to most addresses in the UK but please contact us for a specific quote.

If I order in the evening or at the weekend when will my purchases be dispatched?

Accessory orders will be dispatched the next working day but we do pick and pack in our own warehouse up to 3pm for next day delivery orders. We will contact you to arrange delivery of flooring when most convenient for you.

How can I track my order?

After your order is processed you will receive an email from the courier with your tracking information. If the email does not arrive or your having trouble tracking your order, send an email and we will track the order for you – orders@oakwoodsflooring.com

My order has not arrived when expected, what should i do?

If your estimated delivery time has passed please send an email quoting your order number to: orders@oakwoodsflooring.com Please ensure that the estimated delivery time has passed. We cannot chase the courier for deliveries before the time has expired.

I have received an incorrect item, what should i do?

Please send an email to orders@oakwoodflooring.com we will re-send your item and arrange collection of the incorrect product.

What happens if my item(s) are damaged or defective?

If an item has arrived damaged please sign for the goods “as damaged” and let us know with 24 hours. Please take photographs of the damage and send them to orders@oakwoodsflooring.com
if your item is defective please send us an email and we will liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Purchasing
How do i know how many packs of flooring i need

For your convenience, every wood flooring product has a calculator. We recommend 10% extra to allow for wastage. If you would like to learn how to measure your room please see this advice article.

How long will it take for my wood flooring to arrive?

Some of our listed products can be delivered within 2-3 days. With our tailor made and creative flooring program, these custom made products will have longer lead times. Sometimes as little as two weeks but can be a month or more. Please speak to your flooring consultant about the estimated manufacture time.

am i able to change my order after it has been placed?

So long as your order has not been dispatched amendments can be made. Please send an email to orders@oakwoodsflooring.com. Please note that for custom made to order products that once ordered these cannot be cancelled or altered.

How do i apply a discount code

During the checkout process on the “Checkout Details” page you will be given the opportunity to enter a discount code.

What is a WooD Flooring consultation?

If you are looking to purchase wood flooring but require advice, guidance or bespoke flooring, request a consultation using the form at the bottom of this page. A wood flooring expert will then be in touch to help get the perfect flooring for you. Their job is not to sell to you but is to help you find the right floor for your home or client’s project.

Do you offer a wood flooring fitting service

We do not offer fitting directly however, we have a large lis of reputable flooring professionals from all around the country that we can put you in contact with. If you would like contact information for your closest professional please put a note on your order and will pass on the details.

Do you sell to the public or just trade?

We sell to sell to both public and trade. This includes flooring professionals, carpenters, builders & developers, interior designers and architects. Please note that all prices  are displayed inclusive of VAT.
